On March 2, 2018, Tiantang Group Chairman Zhang Zhigang led the assistant Li Wenchao to the Chinese Embassy in Uganda to meet ambassador Zheng Zhuqiang and Counselor Chu Maoming and report on the progress of the Park and the recent exchange of visits by the Ugandan President. Ambassador Zheng stated that the Embassy in Uganda will fully support the construction of the Park and encourage Chinese entrepreneurs to invest in the Uganda to make greater contributions to Sino-Uganda friendship and economic and trade cooperation. It is hoped that the foundation laying ceremony of the Sino-Uganda Mbale Industrial Park will be a complete success.
